VIDEO: Representatives of the Water Committee Visit Kaghzrashen to Address Residents' Issues

Today, residents of the Kaghzrashen community held a protest in front of the government. They expressed dissatisfaction related to irrigation issues.

“Water does not reach us; I watered my tomatoes two days ago. According to their contract, they provide water once every ten days. They do not clean the canal; algae comes in and blocks the water pump, which is supposed to deliver 150 liters, but only provides 30 liters,” one of the villagers told SHANTNEWS.am.

Deputy Chairman of the Water Committee Harutyun Gulyan stated that they have warned the water utility company that irrigation has been turned off since there is no contract, while the villagers complain that they have paid but are not receiving the appropriate amount of water.
