The expenses for the foreign doctors who will be part of the inter-agency forensic medical examination of Manvel Grigoryan will be covered by the inviting party, the defense side. This was stated to reporters by one of Manvel Grigoryan's lawyers, Arsen Mkrtchyan, who added that nonetheless, they do not have high expectations from the commission as there have been pressures in the previous case.

“We have had a bitter experience when the examination is conducted under improper conditions, by an improper person, under pressure. I don’t know how it will be this time, but the fact remains that Grigoryan's health is deteriorating,” highlighted Arsen Mkrtchyan, without specifying who had exerted pressure on individuals.

Arsen Mkrtchyan noted that strict control has been established over Manvel Grigoryan in the hospital, even the psychologist performs their duties in the presence of a third party.

“I am convinced that even today my meetings and conversations with Manvel Grigoryan are not only being recorded but also video recorded; I have no doubt about this,” he emphasized.

In response to a clarifying question about why he does not appeal to the relevant authorities, Arsen Mkrtchyan replied that it is done at the instruction of those authorities. “Do you want me to complain about my head or what your tail is doing?” he remarked.
