Patriotic Summer Camp Opens in Azerbaijan
Expert on Turkish-Kurdish conflicts Karen Hovhannisyan has stated on his Facebook page: "Azerbaijan not only encourages military-patriotic education at the state level but also allocates significant financial resources to it.
Recently, the army training program for individuals aged 18-25 commenced throughout the country, based on military-patriotic motives. Today, the opening of the 'Young Heydarists' military-patriotic summer camp has been announced.
This camp is intended for children aged 10-16, who will experience it under strict military discipline.
Notably, prior to their departure for the camp, the children attended a speech by Major General Rasim Aliyev, the head of the Main Department for Moral-Psychological Preparation and Education of the Azerbaijani military bureau. His address bore an openly anti-Armenian sentiment and propaganda.
He particularly noted that 'the next military-patriotic camp will be in the mountains of our homeland occupied by the enemy.' He also advised all business owners in the country to establish military-patriotic camps for the children of their employees."
