Video: Vehicles of Draft Accompanying Individuals Towed to Penalty Lot, Arsen Torosyan

The Minister of Health of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, has released a video showing a convoy escorting young draftees on their way to military service. Torosyan expressed his concerns regarding such phenomena, stating:

"I was returning to Yerevan from Vanadzor and encountered this so-called 'convoy' that was escorting our youth going to draft. It is obvious to everyone how dangerous such traffic is in terms of accidents and casualties.

After struggling to reach the accompanying traffic police, I asked them to 'regulate' the movement of the convoy. Of course, there were those who did not comply with the police, and their vehicles were towed to the penalty lot. If we want to avoid accidents and fatalities on the roads, we all need to adhere to traffic regulations, and violators must be strictly punished.

P.S. 1. I myself violated traffic regulations to reach the traffic police vehicle accompanying the convoy because the situation was getting out of control and urgent measures were needed.

P.S. 2. I wish the new recruits a good service and hope there will be no unfortunate incidents," Torosyan wrote.
