«Irates». Nikol Pashinyan Has Become More Thoughtful. Why?

«Irates» newspaper writes: “Recently, Nikol Pashinyan lacks his former enthusiasm; he has become more thoughtful, no longer ‘sticking things on the walls’ or ‘spreading asphalt,’ and has forgotten about live broadcasts. ‘What happened, is he sick?’ I asked one of the members of the ‘My Step’ parliamentary faction.

‘He makes sharp statements; if you are dissatisfied, he speaks calmly, you are still dissatisfied. What can that person do?’ my interlocutor replied. ‘No, it’s just that these past few days have passed very ‘monotonously,’ it’s surprising,’ I countered.

‘He wasn’t in the country, he has returned and he will express his thoughts like a man,’ joked a representative of the ruling majority, reminiscent of a famous film character. ‘You didn’t mention why he has changed,’ I complained again and left.

This ‘crucial’ question was addressed by our sources in the government. Recently, they too have noticed a difference between the former and today’s Nikol Pashinyan. They said he has become more contemplative, perhaps gradually wanting to get into the ‘skin’ of a public official. ‘Or perhaps the noose is tightening too much,’ I provoked.

‘Leading a country is not the same as running an opposition rally, right?’ this time a government representative got angry and left. ‘What did you ask that made you upset?’
