Bear Enters Yerevan Province Residents' Yards

On July 12, at 09:55, the 911 service received information that on July 11, around 04:30, a bear damaged 10 chickens in the yard of house number 6/2 on 2nd Street in the village of Arpi, Vayots Dzor Province (owner: A.K.). In the yard of house number 2/1 on 1st Street, 1st Alley, it damaged 6 chickens (owner: M.G.).

The received information was forwarded to the head of the agriculture and environment department of the regional administration, the assistant to the duty officer of the regional police department, and representatives from the Ministries of Agriculture and Environment at the National Crisis Management Center.

On July 12, at 01:16, the 911 service received information that around 00:15, a bear had damaged 5 chickens in the yard of house number 2/2 on 2nd Alley of 1st Street in the village of Arpi (owner: P.S.). This information has also been passed on to the relevant authorities.
