Elevator Falls in Davtashen, Citizen Trapped Inside

On July 11, at 11:59 AM, the emergency service received a report that an elevator in one of the buildings in the Davtashen district of Yerevan fell from the third floor, trapping a citizen inside. Rescue assistance is needed.

A crew from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Fire and Rescue Service, as well as an operational group from the National Crisis Management Center, have been dispatched to the scene.

More information will be provided shortly. The Ministry of Emergency Situations' information and public relations department informed Aurora News that the citizen is not injured and that the rescuers are currently working to free them from the elevator.
