Emergency Government Meeting Held

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, an emergency government meeting took place behind closed doors. During the meeting, the comprehensive discussion and approval of the Republic of Armenia’s 2020-2022 state mid-term expenditure program occurred.

The preliminary version of the draft law on the Republic of Armenia’s 2020 state budget received approval according to the schedule defined by point 28 of the annex to the decision No. 289-A dated March 22, 2019, of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia. The discussions regarding the budget programs included in the preliminary version of the draft law will be held in the relevant sectoral committees of the National Assembly.

Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the consistent implementation of the measures outlined in the aforementioned program and provided specific instructions to the heads of the responsible departments regarding the realization of capital expenditures, attracting investments, increasing export volumes, and other directions.
