Dismissals in the Ministry of Defense Begin: A Serious Process Has Started - Zhoghovurd

“Zhoghovurd” newspaper reports: “In one of its previous issues, the ‘Zhoghovurd’ daily mentioned that a wave of new structural changes has begun in the Ministry of Defense. And, according to the information we have received, primarily, main departments are being created, and based on that, new structural changes will also take place.

Significant personnel changes are also expected soon from the leadership of the ministry, including dismissals and unexpected appointments. Notably, against the backdrop of these changes, the military commissar of Armenia, Major General Henrik Muradyan, has been dismissed from his position.

‘Zhoghovurd’ learned that he was dismissed due to age, and there are indications that a significant generational change process has started in the Ministry of Defense. It is worth noting that Henrik Muradyan was appointed to that position on June 10, 2013, and was considered a highly respected military figure.
