U.S. President Donald Trump has labeled the United Kingdom's ambassador to the U.S., Kim Darroch, a "stupid fool" after Darroch expressed unflattering opinions about Trump's administration.

"The wacky ambassador that the UK has sent to the US is not someone we are thrilled with. He is very stupid. He should be talking to his country and Prime Minister May about the negotiations on Brexit and not be discouraged by my criticism... It’s a disaster, I don’t know him, but I’ve been told he’s a 'stupid fool'. Tell him that the U.S. has the best economy and military in the world, and they are getting better every day... Thank you, Mr. President," Trump tweeted.

It is worth noting that on Saturday evening, the Daily Mail published excerpts from communications sent by British Ambassador Kim Darroch to the UK's Foreign Office, describing the White House chief and his team. In the materials, the ambassador referred to Trump’s administration as "incompetent and inept" and predicted a "disgraceful end" to the president's career.
