Armenian Ambassador in the Netherlands Elected President of Francophone Diplomats Group

On July 8, Armenian Ambassador Tigran Balayan was elected president of the group of Francophone diplomats accredited in The Hague, succeeding the ambassador of Morocco.

This was reported by the Information and Public Diplomacy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. Expressing gratitude to his colleagues for their trust, Ambassador Balayan noted the symbolism of assuming the leadership of the Francophone Diplomats Group (FDG) during Armenia's presidency at the Francophonie summit.

Tigran Balayan assured his colleagues that he would exert maximum efforts to expand the use of French in international organizations operating in The Hague and to promote Francophone values, as well as to spread the ideas of Francophonie in the Netherlands.
