12 People Injured in Yerevan-Yeraskhavan Accident, Hospitalized in Various Medical Centers
The spokesperson for the Minister of Health of Armenia, Alina Nikoghosyan, has released preliminary information on her Facebook page regarding the incident on the Yerevan-Yeraskhavan road.
"As a result of the accident, 12 people have been injured so far, four of whom have been transferred to the Scientific Center of Radiation Medicine and Burns, one to Erebuni Medical Center, one to Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center, and six to Ararat Medical Center. There are casualties; the exact number is being verified, and further information will be provided. By the order of Minister Arsen Torosyan, the deputy ministers are visiting hospitals to assess the situation on-site," the statement reads.
Deputy Minister of Health Levon Hakobyan is currently at the Scientific Center of Radiation Medicine and Burns, where four of the victims from the Yerevan-Yeraskhavan road accident were transferred. In a conversation with SHANTNEWS.am, Hakobyan provided some details regarding the health condition of the injured. He noted that the condition of two of the injured is assessed as serious, while two others are in satisfactory condition.
