Video: Prime Minister Pashinyan's Official Visit to Vietnam Begins
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's official visit to Vietnam has commenced. He arrived in the capital, Hanoi, late in the evening.
Today, Prime Minister Pashinyan, accompanied by Anna Hakobyan, laid a wreath at the memorial dedicated to the heroes who sacrificed their lives for Vietnam's independence and freedom. The delegation led by the Prime Minister also visited the mausoleum of Vietnam's founding father, Ho Chi Minh, and the Temple of Literature.
Official meetings are set to begin at 1:00 PM Yerevan time. The first meeting will be with Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. Following a private conversation, the two leaders will hold extended discussions, after which Nikol Pashinyan and Nguyen Xuan Phuc will address the media.
Yerevan and Hanoi are expected to sign agreements on cooperation in the fields of education and tourism. Tomorrow, Prime Minister Pashinyan will be hosted by the Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, and he will also meet with local entrepreneurs.
Nikol Pashinyan plans to visit the Armenian embassy in Hanoi. Following Vietnam, the delegation led by Pashinyan will head to Singapore.
