Roof of Livestock Barn Burns Down in Lori Province Along with Large Stockpile of Animal Feed
Today, July 5, an emergency incident occurred in Lori Province, as reported by Shamshyan.com.
At approximately 09:45, the operational management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call reporting a fire in a livestock barn owned by one of the residents of Khinkoyan village.
Emergency response teams, led by Colonel Serob Gabrielyan, head of the Lori regional rescue service, arrived at the scene with three fire-fighting units.
Rescuers and villagers managed to prevent the spread of the fire from the barn to adjacent buildings. They successfully evacuated the large cattle present in the barn to safety.
A portion of the roof of the barn belonging to Karapet Hayrapetyan, along with a nearby poultry house and approximately 800 kilograms of animal feed in the area, were burned.
Villagers have appealed to the Lori provincial administration and village council, requesting assistance for the affected family, as they relied on that feed to sustain their livestock and are now facing significant losses.
