Fire Breaks Out on Armenian-Georgian Border
A fire has erupted in the vicinity of the village of Kachagan in the Marneuli district, near the Armenia-Georgia state border, burning shrubs in the area.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Service has reported that the situation is currently under control. “The fire initially started on the Armenian side, after which it spread to Georgian territory. A total of 7 firefighting and rescue teams have been mobilized on-site, with up to 35 firefighters participating in the localization process. Armenian firefighters have also been mobilized on the other side of the border,” Aliq.ge reports, referencing a statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
