Mayor of Lusarat Village Involved in Car Accident
A major car accident occurred today, July 4, in the Ararat region. Around 14:50, two vehicles—a Hyundai with plate number 500 LL 70 and a BMW with plate number 36 DA 441—collided on the 23 km section of the Yerevan-Eraskh highway.
According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, the Hyundai veered off the roadway, crashed into the metal barriers dividing the road, toppled them, and came to rest in the middle of the road. Following the collision, an object flew into the opposite lane, damaging the windshield of a Nissan vehicle with plate number 17 AU 777, which was heading towards Yerevan.
Preliminary reports indicate that there were no casualties or injuries from the accident. According to sources, the driver of the Hyundai is the mayor of Lusarat village in the Ararat region.
