Employee at Zvartnots Airport Steals from Passenger's Luggage

On July 1, the Police received information at the Yerevan city management office of the Zvartnots Airport linear division that an employee of the airport stole 130 Swiss francs from a passenger's luggage during the unloading of baggage from the Warsaw-Yerevan flight.

In cooperation with the aviation security service employees of Zvartnots Airport, police detained the 34-year-old employee around 10:30 AM on suspicion of theft. The suspect has provided a confession. The stolen money has been seized.

Measures are being taken to identify the victim passenger and to register the incident. Materials are being prepared on the case.
