Two children who were transferred to the "St. Astvatsamayr" Hospital in Yerevan following a tragic car accident on the Yerevan-Sevan highway are being assessed by doctors as being in medium condition. This was announced today, July 1, by the hospital's spokesperson Gevorg Derzanyan.
"We have received two children, a boy and a girl, aged 9 and 11. Both of their conditions are rated as medium severity. The boy has a closed head injury and a concussion, and he has been transferred to the trauma department. The girl also has a closed head injury and a concussion, and she has been moved to the appropriate department. The children are under strict medical supervision," stated Derzanyan.
It is worth recalling that the Emergency Situations Ministry’s "911" service received a call on June 30 at 03:49, reporting that an accident occurred near the old checkpoint of the Traffic Police on the Yerevan-Sevan highway, with casualties reported.
