Collision Involving Three Cars Near U.S. Embassy
On July 1, at 00:47, the emergency service received a call regarding a car accident near the U.S. Embassy on Isakov Avenue in Yerevan, where several vehicles had collided and individuals were trapped.
Two fire-rescue teams were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a Mercedes W124 (driven by A.I., born in 1981), an Opel Astra J (driven by G.K., born in 1984), and a BMW 325 (driven by A.O., born in 1988) were involved in the incident, resulting in a gas leak from both the Mercedes W124 and the Opel Astra J.
Before the rescuers arrived, bystanders managed to extricate the injured individuals A.I., G.K., and A.O. from the wreckage. The rescuers then provided assistance to the injured, who were transported to Astghik Medical Center. Doctors have assessed their health condition as stable.
Rescuers disconnected the vehicles from the power supply and closed the gas tank valves.
