Surik Khachatryan's (Liska) Huge Mansion Recently Registered with the State
Today, the head of the State Cadastral Committee, Sarhat Petrosyan, announced in the National Assembly that the mansion of former Syunik governor Surik Khachatryan (Liska) in Yerevan, which has been under construction for many years, was only registered with the state two days ago after making the necessary payments to the community budget.
According to Petrosyan, until now, the mansion was considered an illegal construction. “During my entire tenure, the only time I resisted the temptation to express my opinion about former officials was regarding this property, which was registered two days ago after making the necessary payments to the Yerevan community budget. Until that moment, it was considered a self-constructed building. It is not for me to say what should happen to that property, but we are ready to support any legal decision made regarding the future of that property within our authority,” he added.
