VIDEO: 41 Individuals Detained in Kotayk
On June 21 and 22, officers from the Kotayk Regional Police Department, along with road traffic police and employees from the Main Department of State Protection, conducted an enhanced service in the Kotayk region, discovering several incidents of law violations, as reported on the police website.
During the two-day enhanced operation, 325 vehicles were inspected. A total of 41 individuals were brought in and detained for various suspicions or for failing to comply with lawful orders from police officers, including individuals with prior convictions. Preventive measures were carried out with them.
For gross violations of traffic rules, 18 vehicles were moved to designated secure areas. In total, 68 drivers faced administrative responsibility.
