83-Year-Old Woman's Home Robbed by Her Own Son

On June 26, an 83-year-old resident of Avshar village in the Ararat region reported that five days prior, an unknown individual had entered her home and stolen 550,000 drams.

The police have reported that detectives from the Ararat division, acting on operational information, determined that the theft was committed by the victim’s 58-year-old son. He was summoned to the police station, where he confessed to the crime and returned the stolen amount in full.

Preparations are underway for further proceedings.
