Roman Babayan Becomes Chief Editor of 'Govorit Moskva'
Russian journalist and host of the TV Center's 'Pravo Golosa' program, Roman Babayan, has been appointed as the chief editor of the 'Govorit Moskva' radio station. He announced this to TASS on Monday.
Before Babayan, the role was held by Sergey Dorenko, who led the station from 2014 until his passing on May 9, 2019.
"I have already become the chief editor. I have experience working in radio. I started my work in radio many years ago, having worked in the news service of Radio Russia, and I previously served as the chief editor of the Finam FM radio station. So, this is a normal working situation for me; I approach it calmly, understanding that I need to work harder, because I am taking over the radio station while continuing to host the 'Pravo Golosa' program. Additionally, I am currently involved in a campaign for the Moscow City Duma elections. It's all manageable," he said.
