7 Real Estate Properties, $98,000, 25 Million Drams: Assets of the Head of the Judicial Department and His Wife
The head of the Judicial Department of Armenia, Karen Poladyan, submitted his annual declaration for 2018 to the Ethics Commission for High-Ranking Officials on May 14, 2019.
According to the declaration, at the beginning of the year, Poladyan reported having 25 million drams, $97,500, and €4,300, which increased by the end of the year to 25 million drams, $98,000, and €4,300. In 2018, Poladyan had an income of 8,502,613 drams, which was derived from two different salaries.
Since assuming office in 2017, Poladyan has declared his assets and income to the Ethics Commission, revealing that he owns seven real estate properties comprising four land plots and three apartments. The head of the Judicial Department also possesses a vehicle, a Nissan Sentra 2.0.
Poladyan's wife, Naira Sargsyan, submitted her annual declaration to the Ethics Commission on May 14, 2019. According to her report, she had 21,500,000 drams, $42,000, and €3,800 at the beginning of the year, which remained the same by year's end, but her euro amount decreased to €3,500. In 2018, Naira Sargsyan reported an income of 2,612,119 drams, earned from two different salaries.
