Sister-in-law Assaulted in Avan

A 48-year-old woman in Yerevan is accused of assaulting her sister-in-law. The incident occurred near School No. 170 in the Avan administrative district.

According to preliminary investigations, the woman confronted her sister-in-law over allegedly spreading defamatory information about her daughter, leading to a heated argument followed by physical violence. Reports state that she pulled the younger woman's hair and struck her on various parts of her body, causing physical pain.

According to Factinfo, the woman has been charged under Article 118 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. The criminal case is currently being examined under the presiding judge Armen Karapetyan.
