Tragic Incident: 17-Year-Old Buried Under Soil and Stones While Working

A tragic incident has occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Police and investigators have determined that at approximately 16:20, a local resident of Vargser village, 17-year-old Emil Vardanyan, became trapped in a pit he was digging while working at a livestock farm. Soil and stones fell on him, burying him.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the emergency response team from the Sevan medical center was dispatched immediately upon receiving the alert and went to the area of the livestock center in the Lchashen village. They transported the young man to the hospital, but unfortunately, he died on the way.

The police are preparing materials regarding the incident.
