Russia-Georgia Conflict Skillfully Utilized by Azerbaijan and Turkey: Political Scientist

Political commentator Hakob Badalyan wrote on his Facebook page: “Russia has no chance in Georgia. At least, I have doubts based on initial impressions that the Russian-Georgian conflict factor is being skillfully exploited by Azerbaijan and Turkey. It is noteworthy that the noise arises on the occasion of the Orthodox Congress and impacts that format, which is almost an exclusive organization where Turkey and Azerbaijan are not present.

Furthermore, this occurs during a period in which the Georgian-Azerbaijani territorial issue regarding the Gareji complex has deepened significantly, with Azerbaijani historians already declaring Tbilisi as their own. It is no surprise that Turkish and Azerbaijani lobbying in the Georgian political sphere is quite substantial. Thus, as always, the Russians are being used once again in the Turkish game, and they are already powerless against it.”
