One Dead in Georgia: Details
REN TV has reported on the first victim of the unrest in Georgia. One person has died in the hospital.
Currently, 55 individuals remain hospitalized in Tbilisi, having sustained injuries during the unrest that followed a protest the previous day. Notably, around midnight, protesters attempted to breach the parliament building, after which special forces dispersed the crowd using water cannons and force. Clashes continued throughout the night.
In total, 240 people have been injured, and 350 protesters have been arrested for various offenses. In connection with these events, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has initiated a case under Article 225 of the Georgian Criminal Code for organizing, conducting, and participating in public disturbances.
