Vardan Ghukasyan: No One Can Comment on My Opinion

Member of the National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia Party, Vardan Ghukasyan, has announced his support for Robert Kocharyan's freedom. "Freedom for Robert Kocharyan," stated the MP, according to ArmLur.am.

As is known, the Prosperous Armenia Party has refrained from commenting on Kocharyan's arrest and release. Meanwhile, Vardan Ghukasyan did not attend the regular session of the National Assembly today. The media reached out to him, and he stated, "I am not feeling well; I am ill and have a fever, that is the reason for my absence."

When asked whether his absence might be connected to his recent statement regarding Robert Kocharyan, he responded, "No, I have no issues. I am part of the 'Tsarukyan' alliance; I respect my friends, we are together. As for what I've said about Kocharyan, that is my opinion, and no one can comment on that. I say again, I respect. Others are also from my team; I stand with my team."
