Judge Armen Danielyan Rejects Recusal Requests in the Case of Robert Kocharyan and Others

Judge Armen Danielyan, presiding over the case of Armenia's second president Robert Kocharyan and others, has just returned from the deliberation room and decided to reject the third recusal motion presented by Kocharyan’s lawyer, Hovhannes Khudoyan.

It is important to note that the basis for this recusal request was the behavior exhibited by Judge Armen Danielyan during the court session on June 18. According to the defense, the actions of the judge have restricted the rights of the defense lawyers, leading them to argue that the presiding judge exhibits bias against the defendants.
