Soldier Killed Today Was Set to Be Discharged in 20 Days

Today, on June 13, a soldier named Artem Khachatryan was killed by enemy fire in Artsakh. He was from the Malishka community in the Vayots Dzor region and was set to be discharged in 20 days. This information was provided to NEWS.am by the Vayots Dzor military commissariat.

The head of the Malishka community, Garik Nazaryan, also reported that the deceased soldier had an older brother and sister.

Earlier, NEWS.am reported that today, at approximately 17:05, a soldier, 1999-born Artem Vazgen Khachatryan, sustained fatal injuries from enemy fire while stationed at a protective post in one of the military units located in the northern direction of the armed forces.

An investigation is underway to clarify the details of the incident.
