Businesses Struggle to Acquire New Generation POS Terminals, Available in Black Market
The newspaper 'Zhamanak' reports that recently, businesses have been complaining that they are unable to acquire new generation POS terminals worth 60,000 drams.
According to respondents from the State Revenue Committee (SRC), there are no available POS devices; however, the same individuals claim that the black market is saturated with new generation POS terminals. Various individuals are selling these devices 'on hand.' It remains to be seen how these devices ended up in the black market or why businesses are unable to easily acquire them. Perhaps the SRC should provide answers to these questions.
