A New Opposition Structure is Being Formed: "Patsar"
According to the "Patsar" newspaper, the "Civil Platform" initiative has decided to engage in active activities and seeks to obtain its legal status by registering as a legal entity.
This information was confirmed in an interview with the initiative's leader, Arman Poghosyan, who mentioned, "In order to have real participation in political processes, we submitted the relevant documents to the State Register of the Ministry of Justice a few days ago for our registration as a public organization."
What does it mean to intensify activities or have "real participation"? The initiative's leader does not provide details, stating that they will discuss those matters later. "The registration of the public organization implies that from now on we will be engaging in public actions in the socio-political arena. We are conducting consultations with partner organizations, political figures, and parties. This is yet another opposition structure that is not aligned with the prevailing situation in the country," our interlocutor said.
