International Media Coverage of the Arrest of 'Adekvad' Members

Various foreign media outlets have reported on the arrest of Arthur Danielyan, the head of the newly established NGO 'Adekvad'. Lenta.ru notes that before its establishment, Danielyan stated that they aimed to offer adequate solutions to the problems facing the country and even warned that they would respond similarly, potentially using violence.

It is recalled that Danielyan claimed their members were arrested on the orders of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan because someone had falsely reported to the police that they had threatened the caller.

The Caucasian Knot publication highlights that days before the incident, the Prime Minister instructed law enforcement agencies to deliver a 'not velvet, but iron blow' to forces that promote violence and are connected to the previous corrupt system.

It is mentioned that Danielyan founded the opposition party on May 27, declaring that Armenia is facing serious challenges and problems, and that the political system has exhausted its ability to respond adequately.

Eurasianet.org also covered the arrest of 11 members of what it referred to as the 'anti-Pashinyan right-wing party', which followed Pashinyan's stern warnings regarding individuals in dark clothing.

It is reported that Armenian bloggers have written about people being subjected to violence solely for expressing their opinions, asserting that there is a political motive behind these actions.

On June 9, it was revealed that 11 members of the 'Adekvad' NGO were arrested following a march held in Yerevan.
