Local Government Elections in 23 Communities of Armenia

Local government elections are taking place today, June 9, in 23 communities across the Ararat, Armavir, Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik, Lori, Kotayk, Shirak, Syunik, and Tavush regions of Armenia. Polling stations opened at 08:00, marking the start of the voting process.

In 14 communities, regular elections are underway, with 7 of them electing community leaders and 8 electing council members. Additionally, 9 communities are holding extraordinary elections. Voting will conclude at 20:00.
