Former Candidate Reelected in Geghhovit

The preliminary counting of ballots has concluded in the Geghhovit community of the Gegharkunik region. According to the initial results, the current mayor, independent candidate Vardan Poghosyan, has been reelected. He received approximately 780 votes, while Naghash Hakobyan secured the second place with 670 votes.

It's worth noting that of the 4,585 eligible voters in Geghhovit, 2,361 participated in the election, making the voter turnout 51.49%.
