Car Accident on Garni-Geghard Road. There are Injured

On June 9, at 15:45, the "911" service received a call indicating that an accident had occurred on the Garni-Geghard road and that there were injured persons who required rescue assistance.

A rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ Special Purpose Rescue Operations Center was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a truck of the "ZIL" model (driver: E.M., born in 1988) had collided with a "Mercedes" model bus (driver: E.B., born in 1981).

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, E.M. was hospitalized at the "Saint Grigor Lusavorich" Medical Center. Rescuers cordoned off the area and disconnected the vehicles from power.
