Possible Difficulties at Bagratashen Checkpoint, Says State Revenue Committee
The State Revenue Committee warns that during the seasonal increase in fruit export volumes and tourist flows, difficulties are inevitably expected at the Bagratashen checkpoint due to the simultaneous servicing of large trucks, tourist buses, and passenger vehicles.
For this reason, in order to avoid congestion and ensure proper service quality during the border crossing process, the State Revenue Committee urges passengers traveling from Turkey to Armenia to use the Bavra and Gogavani checkpoints instead of the Bagratashen checkpoint during the seasonal increase in fruit export volumes and tourist flows.
To eliminate traffic jams, buses arriving from Turkey through the Bagratashen checkpoint during this period will be escorted to the customs supervision area located outside the Bagratashen customs point, where relevant customs procedures will be carried out for the goods transported by those buses.
