Experts Warn: Azerbaijanis Plan to Approach the Border on Foot Towards Shushi
Expert on Turkish-Kurdish conflicts, Karen Hovhannisyan, has stated on his Facebook page that the Azerbaijani side is provoking through civil society. Activists from Azerbaijan are planning to cross the border tomorrow, June 8, with a march involving civilian participants heading towards the city of Horadiz.
This initiative poses dangerous and unpredictable developments. Zereife Kuliyeva, Rajiv Askeril, and Ramil Hajili are the three key figures behind the march, which they have dubbed "Return to Artsakh."
The march began on June 5, and they plan to be in the Horadiz square (located in Azerbaijan) on June 8, from where they intend to head towards the border on foot and make their way to Shushi.
In a conversation with Aurora News, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, confirmed that the ministry is aware of the Azerbaijanis' plans.
