Ararat Mirzoyan and Sasun Mikayelyan Do Not Attend 'My Step' Meetings: 'It Affects Their Nerves'
The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports that according to our sources from the ruling party, Ararat Mirzoyan and Sasun Mikayelyan do not participate in the faction meetings. It is said that the unconstructive discussions within the faction affect their nerves.
When asked 'Who said they are not participating?', Hakob Simidian responded with a question. 'We see them attending. You are mistaken,' he confidently insisted.
Incidentally, the rooted traditions within the ruling faction also impact some MPs, particularly the monthly fundraising practice. Each month, every MP contributes 5,000 dram to the faction's fund to cover expenses for travel and settlement of bills.
MP Vahagn Hovakimyan expressed surprise: 'What’s wrong with that? We don’t have oligarchs to sponsor us; we manage our own expenses.'
