A Black-Dressed Thug Was Laid on the Asphalt: Hmayak Hovhannisyan

The President of the Union of Political Scientists, Hmayak Hovhannisyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "I witnessed a circus-like scene: on Mashtots Avenue, above Pushkin Street, police had laid a black-dressed thug on the asphalt and surrounded him with a large group.

They were filming from several angles, while the thug tearfully begged them to speed up the recordings and not to twist his hands too violently. Then, about five or six police vehicles arrived with sirens, from which camouflaged special forces emerged to assist the officers in twisting the arms of the black-dressed man. Since the hapless individual only had two hands, they were forced to pull him by his legs.

Meanwhile, three plainclothes police officers continued to record this heart-wrenching scene on their phones. The gathered crowd on the sidewalks unanimously suggested that the police personnel are expecting generous bonuses at the end of the month. An elderly man was muttering that even Andropov’s directives were not executed so diligently in the past. Move on, reject... the black-dressed ones... the fight between the whites and the blacks is heating up. One thing is unfortunate: I didn’t find out where they took that thug afterward; perhaps my journalist friends will find out and inform me and our public. In any case, I advise everyone to willingly wear floral clothing from tomorrow onwards to stay away from trouble..."
