The newly appointed Deputy Minister of Economy Artak Kamalyan, who previously served as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture prior to the governmental structural changes, appears to be quite affluent. According to his official declaration, he holds shares worth $119,000 in two companies at the end of last year. His monetary assets total 198,000 AMD, 2 British pounds, 46,500 Swiss francs, 112,000 euros, and 187,000 dollars, reports ArmLur.am.

Kamalyan has reported income from three sources earning him approximately 2 million AMD and 365,000 Russian rubles over the past year. Additionally, he declared other income of 828,000 rubles for the previous year. From the declaration upon taking office, it becomes clear that Kamalyan owns two apartments and two cars: an Audi Q5 and an Audi Q7.

His wife, Olga Khodunova, purchased an apartment for $225,000 last year while simultaneously selling another apartment for 3.1 million rubles. The Deputy Minister's spouse has monetary assets amounting to 114,000 AMD, 18,500 euros, and 112,000 dollars. Her income consists of her salary, which amounted to 650,000 Russian rubles.
