Narine Tukhikyan Has One More Day to Revoke Her Parliamentary Mandate, Urges to Wait
Narine Tukhikyan, a member of the National Assembly from the "My Step" faction, has not yet revoked her request to resign from her parliamentary mandate as of today. She stated this in an interview with NEWS.am.
"I still have plenty of time," she said.
When reminded that there is only one day left, Tukhikyan responded, "One day is still enough time. Knowing that I have one day, I haven't given it much thought yet." When asked if she had received an offer to take up the position of deputy minister, she asked to wait: "Let's wait one more day."
It is important to recall that Narine Khachatryan, a member of the National Assembly from the "My Step" faction, who is known by the surname Tukhikyan, announced her resignation from her parliamentary mandate on May 31. If she does not revoke her application within a week, it means that the parliamentarian will resign her mandate.
Additionally, her name is being circulated as a candidate for the position of Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (in the field of culture).
