«Joghovurd» newspaper writes that in 2018, they reported on a criminal case initiated due to abuses discovered in the National Security Service's Ministry of Emergency Situations, with the preliminary investigation still ongoing.

According to information obtained by «Joghovurd», other individuals have also been dismissed from their positions in the Ministry of Emergency Situations due to possible connections with the aforementioned abuses. Specifically, the accountant, the financial officer, and other personnel were dismissed at their own request, following the appointment of Felix Tsolakyan as Minister.

It has been revealed how much money was embezzled from the ministry, amounting to no less than approximately 200 million drams.
