Police salaries have increased by an average of 25 percent, Osipyan
Today, in the National Assembly, Police Chief Valeri Osipyan addressed the introduction of a new system of monthly bonuses for police officers, which has resulted in an average 25% increase in the monthly monetary compensation for each police employee. “There is a clear trend towards reducing personnel turnover,” he said.
Osipyan also spoke about the police's tolerance. “There is no one in Armenia, whether from the ruling political force or an individual, who can place themselves above the law. For us, it does not matter who it is; we are the police for everyone—regardless of political affiliation. The citizens of the Republic of Armenia are convinced of this,” he added.
