Video: On the Day of Pashinyan's Visit to Kazakhstan, Orders Were Given to Check Armenian Vehicles

A video has surfaced online featuring the acting head of the Nur-Sultan traffic police department, Bauyrzhan Khantemirov, where he gives orders to check "Armenian vehicles" and declares that if no reports are written against them, all platoon commanders will be required to explain themselves in the morning.

"If no reports are written against Armenian vehicles, all platoon commanders should present themselves to me in the morning, along with the battalion commanders. I will not believe that there are no violations in their cases. If there is a breach of the passport regime, send them to the migration service. This means not only violations of traffic rules... A full inspection, visual," says Khantemirov.

According to reports from Kazakhstani media, as cited by NUR.kz, the Kazakh police received this order during the visit of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to participate in the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting (May 28-29).

In response to this incident, checks began at the Kazakh Ministry of Internal Affairs on May 28, and on May 30, Bauyrzhan Khantemirov was dismissed from his position.
