No Criminal Cases to Be Opened Regarding Incidents During Court Entrance Blockade, Special Investigation Service

On May 20, the Special Investigation Service announced that it will not open criminal cases regarding incidents that occurred during actions aimed at blocking court entrances. This information was provided to Tert.am by the spokesperson for the Service, Marina Ohanyan.

“The initiation of a criminal case regarding the apparent crime committed during the actions aimed at blocking court entrances and exits has been rejected due to the absence of a crime,” said Ohanyan.

It is noteworthy that on May 20, citizens blocked the entrances and exits of all courts in the Republic upon the call of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Additionally, it should be mentioned that the Prosecutor's Office had sent 5 materials regarding the apparent crime committed during the actions of blocking court entrances and exits to the Special Investigation Service.
