Major Traffic Accident in Aragatsotn Region Leaves 6 Injured

Today, June 3, a major traffic accident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. At approximately 17:10, two vehicles collided on the 2nd kilometer of the Ashtarak-Gyumri highway: a Mercedes Sprinter with license plate 20 AT 101 and a VAZ 21010 with license plate 36 AS 291.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, six individuals were injured in the accident. Among them, three, including the driver of the Lada, were extracted from the vehicles by rescuers from the Ashtarak fire-rescue service who arrived swiftly at the scene. They were transported to the Ashtarak medical center. The police are working to identify the drivers and the injured parties.
