I Am Preparing to File a Lawsuit: Hayk Sargsyan
Yesterday, Hayk Sargsyan, a member of the 'My Step' faction in the National Assembly, made a post on his Facebook page stating that the 'Hraparak' newspaper is spreading yet another false piece of information. 'I am preparing to file a lawsuit and demand a refutation for all the false information they have written,' the MP wrote.
The reason for this is that the aforementioned newspaper published an article yesterday morning titled 'MP Hayk Sargsyan Created a Ruckus on the Moscow-Yerevan Flight.' The article mentions that former Syunik Governor Vahe Hakobyan was also on the same flight. According to a source on the airplane, when the plane landed in Moscow, Hayk Sargsyan displayed disrespect towards the passengers, attempting to push his way through the line and be the first to disembark. As a result, a conflict arose between the MP and several passengers, including Vahe Hakobyan and a man accompanying him.
About an hour and a half after Hayk Sargsyan's Facebook post, the newspaper spoke with Vahe Hakobyan, who stated that an incident did occur, but Hayk Sargsyan was not involved in that incident.
The same article notes that they later clarified that the real participant in the incident was Arman Madatyan (Manch), a former member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation's faction in the Yerevan Council. Madatyan is the son of former Minister of Transport Eduard Madatyan (Khuchukh Edo) and the son-in-law of Mher Sedrakyan (Tokhmakhi Mher). The newspaper indicated that it was Arman Madatyan who got into a dispute with the passengers, in which Hayk Sargsyan was also involved.
