City Hall on Stray Animals
The Yerevan City Hall has announced on its Facebook page: "Dear Yerevan residents, the Stray Animals Center will start implementing a large-scale program for the regulation and management of stray animal populations in Yerevan starting June 1 of this year. The program is based on the prevention of epidemiological situations and the management of stray animal numbers. The program includes gathering, mapping, numbering, sterilizing, vaccinating, and returning animals to their original territories.
Invited by Yerevan's City Hall, specialists from the WVS "World Veterinary Service" have arrived in Yerevan to collaborate with the Stray Animals Center and conduct training courses.
The Stray Animals Center is seeking support from NGOs and volunteer animal protectors.
All those who have stray animals in their yards that they care for and feed can bring them to the clinic after pre-registration, if possible (the center will ensure their return), and those who cannot bring them are encouraged to call or write.
Phone: 099-076-079
Operating hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, on working days.
The Stray Animals Center emphasizes the importance of collaboration with the animal-loving community," the post reads.
